Absolutely love this place, best curry in Leeds in my opinion! Extensive menus, reasonable prices, staff really friendly, clean venue. Located in Horsforth Park so loads of parking available. Just remember it's cash only and you bring your own alcohol.
Great family run restaurant and take away. We have always had takeaways but the owner said they were open over Xmas so we decided to try it! In the middle of Horsforth park it's quite unusual an unassuming 60's building. On a foggy Boxing Day eve the light and warm welcome was lovely. The food and service is excellent and with this family feel comes care and attention to the quality of the food and ensuring curries are to the right spice for all diners. The decor is clean and simple, no frills just comfy chairs and a cool light you press orange when ready to order. Its value for money as its alc free menu but everyone Brought their own alc, with no corkage fee it takes the sting out of a lot of restaurant meals with drinks adding up! The dessert in a coconut shell was very novel and with larger groups, small families like us everyone is welcome. A very unique settting, with excellent food and a warm sense of family hospitality that can't be taught!
Always a lovely experience at Ameens. Great freshly prepared food - made just how you like it. Really friendly staff who take time to discuss the dishes and show obvious pride in the quality. And a lovely, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, no frills but clean and comfortable. Plus you can take your own wine / beer. Love it.
a nice little hidden gem, if it wasn’t for justeat we wouldn’t of known it was there! the site has free carparking and nice scenery from the restaurant. the food is amazing, the best karahi i have had in along time. there is zero alcohol BUT can bring your own. it is expensive but you get what you pay for. 3 stars for atmosphere as we went 30mins after opening so it was really quiet but started getting busy as we was leaving- definitely recommend this family run restaurant 10/10
Everytime I go there the food is on point and there’s nothing bad to say about it-plus they do most curry on request even if it’s not on the menu. The staff are very friendly and are very welcoming. Also it’s bring your own alcohol which is very nice
Family run kashmiri restaurant in an interesting setting. Lovely sizzler starter dishes and authentic karahis. Naan was lovely and pilau rice had a nice fresh cumin flavour. Selection of mocktails looked nice will try next time. Friendly service, great value for money and it's BYOB. Lovely find!
An excellent evening, food was delicious, good portion sizes and service very friendly. There was decent quality and generous amount of lamb in the lamb & spinach balti, and the liver tikka starter was particularly tasty. Can't wait to go back when it gets a bit lighter to enjoy the view of the park while I eat.
